The Laraib promise

Four things we will never compromise

A herbal syrup is only as honest as the room it was made in. This is what happens between the field and the bottle you unscrew at home.

  1. Single-origin herbs Amla, saunf, gulab and sandal bought straight from growers in Multan, Bahawalpur and Kasur. We would rather reject a lot than accept a weak one.
  2. The traditional Unani method Copper-still distillation and open-pan reduction, watched by hand. It costs us hours on every batch — it is also the only way the aroma survives.
  3. A DRAP-licensed plant we own DRAP E. No: 00803. Washing, extraction, filling and quality control all happen in our own Multan facility. No third-party filling, ever.
  4. Nothing artificial, ever No synthetic colour, no added preservative, no flavour essence. If one of our syrups is deep red, it is because the fruit was.

The materia medica

Seven ingredients we refuse to compromise on

Everything that leaves our Multan plant starts in an orchard or a field we can name. These are the seven we buy first, test hardest and never substitute — whatever the season does to the price.

Every incoming lot is quarantined until our own lab clears it for identity, moisture and heavy metals.

How it is made

From our fields to your family

Four stages, one roof. Laraib Herbal Pharma grows relationships with the same growers year after year, then does every step of the making in Multan — so we can answer for what is in the bottle.

  1. Growers hand-sorting freshly picked fruit into crates at harvest

    Step 1 of 4: Sourcing

We buy whole fruit and herb straight from growers around Multan, Chitral and the Salt Range — lot by lot, inside the fortnight either side of peak ripeness.

  2. Copper still drawing a herbal distillate in the Laraib extraction hall

    Step 2 of 4: Extraction

Copper-lined stills and slow, low-temperature decoction pull the aroma out whole, instead of boiling the volatile oils away in a hurry.

  3. Laboratory analyst testing a syrup sample at the Laraib quality bench

Step 3 of 4: Quality testing

Our in-house lab clears every batch for heavy metals, microbial load, pH and Brix. Nothing moves to filling until the sheet is signed off.

  4. Amber bottles moving along the sealing and labelling line

    Step 4 of 4: Bottling & sealing

Filled hot, induction-sealed and batch-coded on a DRAP-compliant line, then held back a full 48 hours before a single carton is dispatched.

Every batch is traceable to its harvest lot — the code on the cap tells us the field, the week and the still.

Every order is packed and dispatched from our Multan warehouse within one working day of confirmation. Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad and other major cities usually receive their parcel in two to three working days; smaller towns and remote districts take four to five. A flat courier charge is calculated at checkout, and orders above Rs 3,000 ship free anywhere in Pakistan. You will get a tracking number by SMS the moment the parcel leaves us.

Yes — cash on delivery is available nationwide and it is what most of our customers choose. Please keep the exact amount ready for the rider, and check that the seal and the printed batch code on each bottle are intact before you hand over the money. If you would rather pay in advance, the online payment methods available to you are listed on the checkout page.

Laraib Herbal Pharma is a licensed Unani manufacturer and our registration — DRAP E. No: 00803 — is printed on every carton and label. Everything is made in our own facility in Multan under documented GMP practices, and each bottle carries its batch number and expiry date so you can trace precisely what you are holding. If a label ever looks wrong, photograph it and send it to us.

Our sharbats are traditional herbal syrups made from fruit, flowers and sugar, and families here have given them to children for generations — always well diluted in a glass of chilled water rather than taken neat. They are food-style preparations, not medicines, so we deliberately do not publish dosages for children. If your child is under five, is already taking prescribed medicine, or has a condition such as diabetes, please speak to your doctor or hakeem first.

Classical sharbat recipes use sugar as both the sweetener and the preservative, so the standard syrup range is not sugar-free. Our arqiyat are — distillates such as Arq Gulab, Arq Sonf and Arq Podina contain no added sugar at all and can be taken plain or stirred into water. The full ingredient list is printed on every label and shown on each product page, so you can check before you order.

Close the cap tightly and keep the bottle upright in a cool, dark cupboard, away from direct sunlight and the heat of the stove. Sharbats keep best refrigerated after opening and are usually finished within eight to twelve weeks; arqiyat should go into the fridge straight away. Use a clean, dry spoon every time — moisture left in the neck of the bottle is by far the most common reason a syrup turns.
