Jarian is one of the oldest complaints recorded in Unani practice, and its treatment has always been quiet, dietary and gradual. Safoof-e-Jarian is Laraib’s version of that classical answer — a pale, mild-tasting powder of restorative roots and seeds, taken with milk at night. How it is made
The roots are washed, sun-dried and stone-ground separately before blending, so that each retains its own strength; the seeds are lightly cleaned and milled cool to protect their oils. Every botanical is bought single-origin from growers in Punjab and Sindh we have dealt with for decades. Nothing artificial is added at any stage.
How to take it
Take one level teaspoon (about 5 g) in a cup of warm milk at bedtime, ideally two hours after your evening meal. A course of six to eight weeks is the traditional recommendation. Avoid very spicy food and late nights while taking it, as hakeems have always advised alongside this formula.
