Tehlil ul Auram translates almost literally as the dissolving of swellings, and formulas under that name appear in Unani texts going back centuries. The logic is straightforward: warm, resolving herbs taken internally to help the body clear stagnant fluid and settle inflamed tissue. Laraib keeps to the classical method, compounding it as a syrup so it is easy to take consistently.
What it is traditionally used for
- Traditional support where internal swelling and inflammation are present
- Helping external swellings and puffiness to settle
- Easing the tightness and discomfort that accompany swollen tissue
- Supporting comfort in aching, inflamed joints and limbs
- Encouraging the body’s own clearing of stagnant fluid
How it is made
Resolving herbs and gum resins are ground fine, then extracted by slow decoction so the resinous fraction is properly carried into the liquid. The extract is strained, settled and reduced gently into a syrup base. Each botanical is single-origin and checked for identity before it enters the batch, and nothing artificial is added at any stage.
How to take it
Adults take two teaspoons twice a day, after breakfast and after the evening meal, with a little warm water. Warm water matters here — it helps the resinous portion disperse. Take it steadily for two to three weeks before judging the effect, and rest, elevation and gentle movement alongside will do it no harm.

Bought on a friend’s recommendation in Faisalabad. Bottle arrived sealed with a clear batch date, which I appreciate. Using it for general puffiness after an old sports injury and I am pleased with where I am.

It works, but you must be patient and take it properly with warm water — I made no difference for the first ten days because I was taking it with cold. Once corrected, much better. Taste is strong and resinous.

I drive long distance and my knees puff up after a run to Quetta and back. Started this in April. The difference is not overnight but by the third week the stiffness in the mornings was clearly less.

My mother’s ankles swell badly by evening, especially in the Karachi humidity. Her hakeem suggested this. Three weeks of two doses a day and she can get her shoes on comfortably again. We have reordered twice.
