Mughalaz means that which thickens, and in Unani pharmacy the word has always described this family of restorative root powders. Safoof-e-Mughalaz is Laraib’s version: white musli and semal musli ground fine with supporting seeds, taken nightly in milk. It is a patient, dietary preparation of the old kind, made for men who want tradition rather than novelty.

How it is made
Musli roots are peeled, sun-dried on trays and stone-ground slowly so the starch stays intact rather than scorching; gums and seeds are milled separately and blended at the final sift. Roots are bought single-origin from established growers and inspected before every batch. Nothing artificial is added — no steroids, no synthetic actives, no colour.
How to take it
Take one level teaspoon (about 5 g) stirred into a cup of warm milk at bedtime, two hours after your evening meal. A course of eight weeks is the usual traditional recommendation. Adequate sleep and a moderate diet are considered part of the regimen, not optional extras alongside it.
