How it is made
Whole herbs are cleaned, graded and slowly decocted rather than extracted at speed, so the water has time to draw out the bitter principles that give a liver formula its character. How to take it
Adults take two teaspoons three times a day, ideally after meals; children over five take one teaspoon twice daily. Shake well before pouring, as a light natural sediment is normal. Take it neat or stirred into a few sips of water, and continue for four to six weeks for a full course.
