Motadil means balanced, and that is the whole intention of this formula — not to force the kidneys but to cool them into working properly again. Built on the classical cooling seeds and chicory, Bazoori Motadil is what Unani physicians in the plains have prescribed for generations through the burning months, when the water runs short and the bladder pays for it.
What it is traditionally used for
- Taken to remove heat from the liver and the bladder
- Long given to soothe the burning felt while passing water
- Used to promote a free and easy flow of urine
- Traditionally taken to help flush and cleanse the kidneys and bladder
- Given as a balanced, cooling formula during the hottest months
How it is made
Cooling seed kernels and chicory are sourced whole and single-origin, then steeped and simmered as a gentle decoction so the mucilage and cooling principles are drawn out without heat damage. The liquid is filtered clear, sweetened and reduced under Pakistan Tibbi Pharmacopoeia control. No artificial colour, flavour or preservative is used.
How to take it
Take 2 tablespoons, around 30 ml, in a full glass of cool water, twice a day — and drink plenty of plain water alongside, since the syrup works by encouraging flow. Morning and late afternoon suit most people; avoid taking it immediately before bed.

I work outdoors in Sukkur and dehydration is a constant problem. This has become part of the routine, one glass before leaving and one on return. Noticeable difference within a week. Bought the 800 ml.

Does help, and I drink far more water because of it, which is probably half the benefit. Taste is very mild, almost plain. Four stars because the 240 ml barely lasts ten days at the stated dose.

Every June my mother-in-law in Multan starts on this and insists the rest of us do too. Two spoons in cold water morning and evening. The burning she gets in the heat has not troubled her this year.
