Coconut oil is the oil most Pakistani households grew up with — warmed between the palms on a Thursday evening and worked into a child’s scalp before bath day. Laraib presses it clean and bottles it plain: no perfume, no mineral oil, no colour. Just the kernel oil itself, the way the hakeems have always preferred it.
What it is traditionally used for
- Massaged into the scalp to encourage hair that grows longer, thicker and darker
- Long taken up to strengthen the hair roots and slow everyday hair fall
- Used as a weekly conditioning treatment that leaves the hair soft, smooth and glossy
- Worked into dry, rough patches of skin to soften and settle them

How it is made
Mature coconut kernels from a single sourcing lot are dried and cold pressed at low temperature, so none of the delicate fatty acids are cooked away. The oil is then settled and filtered until it runs clear and almost odourless. Nothing artificial goes in — no fragrance, no colour, no mineral oil, no preservative.
How to take it
For external use. Pour a little into the palm, warm it between the hands and work it into the scalp in small circles for five to ten minutes, then draw it down through the lengths. Leave it on for an hour, or overnight if the hair is very dry, and wash out with a mild shampoo. Two or three times a week is enough. On the body, smooth a thin film over dry areas straight after bathing, while the skin is still damp.
