Obx is Laraib’s own shorthand, but the formula behind it is old — the warming, wind-clearing seeds that Unani physicians prescribed for a body they described as waterlogged and slow. It is not a miracle in a bottle, and Laraib does not pretend otherwise. It is a sugar-free herbal water that supports a diet you are already keeping.
What it is traditionally used for
- Traditionally taken to help the body work off surplus fat
- Used alongside a controlled diet as part of a weight-management routine
- Taken to clear the wind and flatulence that leave the stomach distended
- Traditionally used to bring the waistline back towards its normal size
- Taken to support brisk digestion and regular elimination
- Equally suited to men and to women
How it is made
Aromatic seeds and cooling herbs are soaked and then steam-distilled together in a single charge, so the finished water carries the whole blend rather than several waters stirred together afterwards. Single-origin Pakistani material, distilled and filled at the Multan works. No sugar, no stimulants, no synthetic appetite suppressants — nothing artificial at all.
How to take it
One glass, about 60 ml, half an hour before lunch and again before dinner, plain or with a squeeze of lemon if you find it bitter. Take it consistently for at least eight weeks alongside a controlled diet and a daily walk; on its own, it will do very little.
Good to know
- Two pack sizes: 240 ml to try it, 800 ml for a full course
- DRAP registration number 008031270367
- Naturally sugar-free, with no sweeteners or stimulants
- Works with, not instead of, sensible eating and daily movement

I have tried expensive slimming teas that did nothing except upset my stomach. This is sugar-free, cheap, and it genuinely keeps things moving. Three months in and going steadily in the right direction.

It does help with the heaviness, and the waistline over time. The taste is bitter and takes getting used to — I have it cold with a squeeze of lemon and then it goes down easily enough.

The 240 ml is a sensible way to try it first, then I moved to the big bottle. Two glasses a day and my clothes fit better after two months. Far less gassy after meals too.

Six weeks in, with walking and smaller portions. Down about four kilos, though I would not credit the arq alone. Where it clearly helps is the bloating — my stomach looks flatter within days of starting.
