Not every sharbat is written for one ailment. Aijaz belongs to the older category of general tonics — a measured blend of dried herbs and flowers kept in the house the way other families keep honey, taken through the seasons for no reason more dramatic than feeling well. Laraib prepares it to pharmacopoeial standard, plainly labelled, with nothing hidden behind a flavouring.
What it is traditionally used for
- Taken as a general everyday tonic rather than for a single named complaint
- Kept in the house through changes of season, in the household tradition
- Given as a mild, balanced sharbat suitable for the whole family
- Used when a gentler alternative to a strong medicinal syrup is wanted
- Drunk chilled through the hot months as a pleasant daily habit
How it is made
Dried herbs and flowers are sourced single-origin, cleaned and infused slowly so their character is drawn out at low heat rather than boiled away. The liquid is filtered, sweetened and reduced to a clear, stable syrup under pharmacopoeial control. Nothing artificial is added — no synthetic flavour, no added colour and no chemical preservative.
How to take it
Take 2 tablespoons, about 30 ml, stirred into a full glass of chilled water, once or twice a day. It is mild enough for regular use and works equally well over ice in summer. Shake the bottle gently before pouring, as natural settling is normal in a syrup with no stabilisers.

Registration number matches what is on the DRAP side, which is why I bought from Laraib rather than an unnamed local bottle. Taste is mild and clean. Delivered to Sialkot in three days.

We keep a bottle in the fridge all summer. Two spoons in cold water in the afternoon and it is far better than the fizzy drinks the kids were reaching for. Ordered the 800 ml the second time.

Pleasant, light syrup that the children will actually drink, which is more than I can say for most herbal things in our house in Gujranwala. Four stars only because the label does not say much about what is inside.
